With the release of DCR Portal 7.2, we are excited to introduce process classifications to enhance the organization and management of processes. By implementing process classifications, such as the APQC (American Productivity & Quality Center) framework, we aim to provide a standardized way of categorizing processes. This allows users to easily navigate and understand the relationships between various processes, ultimately improving efficiency, consistency, and transparency across the organization.
Select "Classification" in the menu on the left:

Community area in portal is configured with APQC classification to demonstrate the capabilities. Administrators in your own organization can configure their own classification.
Processes can be associated with nodes in the process tree, so end-users can easily browse the hierarchy to get information about their processes. An example hierarchy is outlined below:

Associate processes with hierarchy
The Classification field under the resource panel for each graph can be filled out with the selected location of the process in the classification hierarchy as outlined below:

The selected graph is associated with 5.2 Manage service delivery resources in the process classification hierarchy.
The graph must be properly shared to be able to view for people.
Process classification administration
As an administrator you will find the process classification in the menu.

New nodes are added by clicking the "+" to the right of the node.

A node must have a title and a "short name". The internal ID is optional. Classifications like APQC have internal ids that can be entered. If not the system will generate a unique id.
Nodes are removed by clicking “-“. When you remove a node, any associated with a graph is also removed.
In a future release we plan to support exporting and importing classification structures from Excel.
